"The Immortal Warrior"... Empty "The Immortal Warrior"...

Post  Stefan Escayg Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:41 pm

Stefan Marc Escayg was born and raised on the island of Trinidad. At the age of 10, Stefan's family moved to the "Land of Opportunity", America, so that Stefan would have more opportunites for success. Stefan's cousins, Mikai and Che Escayg, got him to watch an episode of wrestling, hooking Stefan onto the sport from that point on. Stefan decided at the age of 12 that he wanted to be a pro wrestler, and started training at the age of 17. Eventually, Stefan had the opportunity to begin wrestling in the independent shows. Though he recieved little money, Stefan loved every minute that he was in the ring performing. Stefan has always been a stubborn child, which has translated into resiliency in the ring. His nickname, "The Immortal Warrior", represents his warrior-like spirit that never seems to die.

"The Immortal Warrior"... Empty WWI Season 1: The Warrior's First True Battle!

Post  Stefan Escayg Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:42 pm

On the very first episode of WWI, Stefan came out and introduced himself to the WWI crowd. He was soon interrupted by "The Samoan Warrior" Aifelafasofa, who noticed that Stefan also called himself a "warrior". Aifelafasofa soon challenged Stefan to a match right there, to which Stefan eagerly accepted. In a hard fought match, Stefan managed to get the win over Aifelafasofa.

The following show, Stefan managed to come out victorious in a match against Spider Pig. Prior to the match however, Stefan reminded WWI fans that he defeated Aifelafasofa on the first show. Aifelafasofa took offense to this, and warned on the Stefan on the 3rd show that "he may have won the battle, but he didn't win the war". Aifelafasofa proceeded to put Stefan on notice, a threat that Stefan didn't seem to appreciate as he later stated that Aifelafasofa's warning was meaningless to him, and that he was putting Aifelafasofa on notice.

Both Aifelafasofa and Stefan got the night off on the 4th show, but on the 5th show of the season, Aifelafasofa came out to the ring and called Stefan out. He said that his loss to Stefan had been bothering him, and that he wanted to fix it right then and there. Stefan came out and once again accepted Aifelafasofa's challenge without hesitation. In yet another hard fought match, Stefan looked as though he had the match won when he hit his Warrior's Kick, but Aifelafasofa fell out of the ring; saving him from being pinned. Stefan leaves the ring in pursuit of Aifelafasofa, and the two begin brawling outside. At the count of 9, both men knock each other down with simultaneous clotheslines, rendering them unable to get back into the ring for the 10 count, ending the match in a double countout. Frustrated that he once again failed to defeat Stefan, Aifelafasofa kicked Stefan in the face as he was getting up. Aifelafasofa got a chair, and bashed Stefan's skull in before throwing him into the ring. Unable to defend himself, Stefan fell victim to a vicious 8 consecutive German Suplexes, which Aifelafasofa calls the Rolling Samoan-Plex. Aifelafasofa then locked in the Samoan Crucifix to try to make Stefan tap. Living up to his nickname, Stefan refused to tap out despite being in immense pain. Stefan was saved by security when they came down to get Aifelafasofa off of him. The damage had been done however, as Stefan had to be helped out by the EMT's.

The following show, Aifelafasofa came out and claimed to have been oblivious to the ringing of the bell. He claimed that he got "caught up in the heat of the moment", which is why his assault on Stefan continued after the bell rang. Aifelafasofa was surprised when Stefan interrupted him despite the physical abuse he endured just a few days prior. Stefan verbally cut Aifelafasofa down, most notably provoking the fact that Aifelafasofa has never beaten Stefan yet. Stefan then announced that he proposed an idea to Morgan Rock for WWI's first PPV ever, Ground Zero. He then went on to announce that the two warriors will collide once more in a Last Man Standing Match at Ground Zero. After the announcement, Stefan informed Aifelafasofa that Mr. Rock granted Stefan the power to choose his opponent for that night. The opponent turned out to be Prince Gibson, who fell short of victory due to a Rolling Samoan-Plex. Right after his match, Aifelafasofa complained to Morgan Rock that it was unfair for Stefan to pick his opponent like that. Rock agreed, and gave Aifelafasofa the power to choose Stefan's opponent for later that night. That opponent turned out to be "The Blackbird" Thomas McKnight, who was making his WWI debut. Stefan hit the Warrior's Kick on McKnight, but Aifelafasofa ran out and made the match end in DQ. Aifelafasofa went for the Rolling Samoan-Plex, but Stefan countered with an arm drag. He then went for the Warrior's Kick, but Aifelafasofa caught his foot, spun him around, and speared him to the floor where the two warriors brawled until security rushed out to separate them.

On the final show before Ground Zero, neither warrior was in action. Stefan, however, took part in Jeanet Rock's very first interview. The strong personalities of Jeanet and Stefan definately clashed during the interview, but Stefan got straight to the point by reminding us of how they got to where they were. Stefan then told Aifelafasofa that he would be "The Last Warrior Standing".
Ground Zero
"The Immortal Warrior" Stefan Escayg vs. "The Samoan Warrior" Aifelafasofa
Last Man Standing

The match started off fairly matched, with Stefan utilizing his speed and Aifelafasofa locking in a few submissions. After various signatures had been used, Stefan went to end the match early with the Warrior's Kick, but Aifelafasofa caught the foot and countered into a Northern Lights Suplex. Soon after, Aifelafasofa went for the Rolling Samoan-Plex, but was countered when Stefan freed himself from Aifelafasofa's grip and used the upward momentum to complete a backflip, countering with a moonsault. Stefan made a mistake soon after, allowing Aifelafasofa to get a steel chair and blast Stefan's skull, opening a wound. Stefan managed to get up at a 5 count, and soon goes for the Warrior's Kick, but was caught again and twisted into the Polynesian Ankle Tenderizer. After regaining the upper hand, Stefan opened a wound on Aifelafasofa's skull with a steel chair shot of his own. Aifelafasofa got up at 5, but was soon knocked back down with the chair, allowing Stefan to leave the ring and pull out a Ladder! Stefan made a mistake, allowing TSW to recover and smash the Ladder into his face with a steel chair shot. This bought TSW some time, and opened Stefan up a little more. TSW set the Ladder up close to the turnbuckle, having the rungs face the corners and climbed the Ladder, holding Stefan on his shoulders, to the very top. TSW sat Stefan down and went for a German Suplex off the Ladder, but Stefan elbowed TSW until he broke his grip. Stefan then knocked TSW off of the Ladder, played to the crowd, and hit a death-defying Immortal Dive off the top of the Ladder. Stefan managed to get to his feet at 5 while TSW barely made the 10 count at 9. Trying to capitalize, Stefan rushed in with a clothesline, but TSW ducked under and proceeded to hit the Rolling Samoan-Plex on Stefan. Stefan somehow managed to get up at 9, and made the same mistake again by rushing in at TSW, allowing him to counter into a Samoan Crucifix. Stefan once again refused to tap despite numerous orders from TSW to do so. Finally, TSW released Stefan when it seemed as though he was unconcious and simply waited for the 10 count. Unbelievably, Stefan started to move at the count of 6. TSW, wanting to dominate Stefan, picked him up and went for another Rolling Samoan-Plex, but Stefan managed to counter into a Tri-Factor! Stefan held TSW in the Tri-Factor for several seconds before being overpowered and launched into the still standing Ladder, knocking him back down next to TSW. Both men, completely worn out, got up at the same rate, even using each other as support to stand. Once up, Stefan quickly brushes TSW's arms away and hits a Warrior's Kick from out of nowhere! Both men fall to the mat! Both of them begin struggling to their feet at about the same rate. Both lunged for a rope to help pull themself up, but only Stefan reached one and was able to stand at the count of 9 while TSW missed and crumbled back to the mat, resulting in Stefan's victory!

"The Immortal Warrior"... Empty WWI Season 2: The Warrior's Downfall...

Post  Stefan Escayg Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:45 pm

On the first show after the season break, Jeanet Rock announced a match made by her father for the following show: Stefan Escayg vs. The Terrible Terrier vs. Jason Storm in an Elimination Triple Threat Match. Stefan was later interviewed by Savannah and talked about his PPV win, WWI's promotion, and his upcoming match. Stefan acknowledged that Storm and Terrier may be focused on each other in their match on Sunday based on their issues in season 1, but Stefan warned both men not to overlook Stefan.

That Sunday, Storm was in the middle of an interview with Savannah prior to the triple threat match when Terrier came around the corner with a hockey stick. Terrier provoked Storm, starting a brawl that quickly turned gruesome as Terrier beat Storm down to a bloody pulp with the hockey stick. A brief intermission was called to find a replacement for Storm, which turned out to be Scrier. Somewhat early in the match, Stefan went for the Warrior's Kick on Scrier, but it got caught. Scrier spun Stefan around and went for a clothesline, but Stefan ducked under and rolled him up to eliminate him from the match. Terrier and Stefan went back and forth until Stefan hit the Trinidadian Tornado, buying him enough time to follow up with the Immortal Dive! Stefan pins Terrier, but was shocked when he kicked out at 2 and a half! Stefan, frustrated, got up and signaled for the Warrior's Kick. Terrier ducked under and kicked Stefan in the gut once he turned around before hitting his Lifting Sitout Double Underhook Facebuster to finish him off and issue Stefan his very first loss in WWI.

Stefan got a much needed day off that Thursday. Shawn and Percival announced that Storm's injuries were career ending, and that he was released from WWI. That Sunday, Stefan had another match against McKnight. Near the end, Stefan managed to barely kick out of the Payroll Belly to Belly, when Terrier came out and caused the match to end in disqualification. Stefan did not seem to be himself, as he was dominated more easily than fans were used to.

March 12th, 2009...Stefan came out and announced to the WWI audience that his personal life was beginning to affect his professional life...being the perfectionist that he is, Stefan couldn't settle for anything less than his best...Stefan then announced that he was leaving WWI to fix his personal issues...he promised, however, that this was not the last time the fans would hear of "The Immortal Warrior" Stefan Escayg...

"The Immortal Warrior"... Empty Unemployed: The Warrior Heals...

Post  Stefan Escayg Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:46 pm

Having been released from his WWI contract, Stefan's income drastically decreased. His issues however, were far greater than any price he was unable to pay. One of Stefan's closest friends had become dangerously suicidal, and was refusing to even listen to his advice anymore. On top of that, Stefan had to deal with the added stress of being a college student by day. His grades had been low all year, and Stefan barely had any time to study when he was wrestling because of fatigue. He knew that if he wanted to pass, something had to be dropped. His choices were school, his friend, and WWI. With the extra time on his hands, Stefan began to actually study and do his work, raising his grades. His friend also began listening to Stefan more since he was around more and not as tired, and gave up on trying to kill herself. Things started to work themselves out within a matter of weeks, and Stefan began feeling the urge to wrestle again.

Stefan thought about returning for days before contacting Morgan Rock again. He asked Rock if he would consider giving Stefan a contract again, and Rock immediately said yes. Stefan gave the matter much thought, as he did not want to leave again shortly after returning, and finally decided that he was prepared to make a return. After a little over a month, "The Immortal Warrior" was set to make his WWI return...

"The Immortal Warrior"... Empty WWI Season 3: "The Immortal Warrior" Returns!

Post  Stefan Escayg Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:47 pm

April 16th, 2009..."The Immortal Warrior" Stefan Escayg makes a surprise return to WWI! He talks about the changes that have taken place since his departure, and wasted little time in calling out the man that ended his undefeated streak and who took credit for "retiring" him, The Terrible Terrier. To everyone's surprise however, Stefan's old rival and Samoan Champion Aifelafasofa answered Stefan's call and informed Stefan that there were new rules that need to be followed, as ordered by the Old School Academy in which Aifelafasofa was a member. Stefan knew about the rules, and told Aifelafasofa that because he has no respect for the OSA, he would not conform to the rules. Stefan then shifts his focus from Terrier to "something much more valuable than revenge", the Samoan Championship. Stefan then challenged Aifelafasofa to a title match right there, but was denied by the champion who said that Stefan would never get a shot because of his behavior. Stefan then went on to say that he was going to get no matter what held him back, and once again put Aifelafasofa on notice.

On the following show, Stefan showed that he was back to his former winning self when he made Hitman Goose tap out to the Tri-Factor. Stefan later said in an interview with Savannah that he hated OSA because of their tactics and that he was going to get the Samoan Title off of Aifelafasofa, rename it back to the European Title, and then finish Aifelafasofa. In an interview that took place later on in the show, Aifelafasofa said that he was not intimidated by Stefan's threat.

That Thursday, Aifelafasofa was scheduled to defend his title against Shane Sebastian. Stefan said in an interview prior to the title defense that he was going to get Aifelafasofa sometime that night, but that he hoped he successfully defended his title so that Stefan could be the one to get the belt off of Aifelafasofa. In the match, Aifelafasofa threw Shane into Thomas McKnight, who was the referee for the match, knocking him out of the ring and having McKnight land dangerously on his neck. Aifelafasofa then hit the Rolling Samoan-Plex, but there was no referee to count the pin. Just then, a new referee ran down and Aifelafasofa pinned Shane without looking at the ref. The ref stopped counting at 2, and simply stood up with his head down and his hair blocking his face. Aifelafasofa rose and pushed the ref while yelling at him, but the ref hit a Superkick on Aifelafasofa out of nowhere! The ref then whipped his hair back and revealed himself as Stefan Escayg! Stefan then dragged Shane onto Aifelafasofa and counted the 3, but McKnight got the mic and disqualified Shane since Stefan was not the referee. Stefan went for the Warrior's Kick on McKnight, but was caught and spun around. McKnight went for the Payroll Belly to Belly, but Stefan freed himself mid-air and got out of the ring. Both McKnight and Stefan stared each other down as McKnight was in the ring and Stefan walked up the ramp.

The following Sunday, Stefan teamed with Cyn to face Thomas McKnight and The Rainbow Haired Warrior. Prior to the match, Stefan had an interview with Savannah in which he criticized McKnight and OSA for reversing the decision in the match involving Aifelafasofa and Shane for the title, and warned McKnight that he was now the main target. In a hard fought match, McKnight used his corrupted power to cause a disqualification at Stefan's expense when McKnight grabbed onto the referee's shirt when he was locked in the Tri-Factor.

On the final show before the PPV, Stefan came out in the middle of the show to address McKnight. He talked about their past matches and how they all ended in disqualification, which is why he approached Morgan Rock with the idea that the two face each other at Extinction in a Hardcore Match. Rock approved, and so Stefan pleaded with McKnight to give up his Old School Values for one night and fight.

Extinction
"The Immortal Warrior" Stefan Escayg vs. "The Blackbird" Thomas McKnight
Hardcore Match
The match started off with a little bit of trash talking between both Stefan and McKnight. It became clear that McKnight was giving up "Old School Values" for their match as he slapped Stefan right in the face, prompting Stefan to take him down and begin pummeling him. The balance of power shifted multiple times throughout the match as they used various weapons. With both men bleeding and McKnight with the advantage, all hope seemed lost for Stefan. A light in the dark began shining however as Stefan managed to pull out a 12 foot Ladder, helping him get back into the match. Both men attempted to hit their finishers multiple times, but they knew each other too well to work! Finally, McKnight managed to hit his Payroll Belly to Belly and pin Stefan, but "The Immortal Warrior" somehow managed to kick out! Frustrated, McKnight stalked Stefan and prepared for the Stock Market Crash, but Stefan sidestepped his opponent and connected with a surprised Warrior's Kick! Stefan dragged himself onto McKnight, but to everyone's surprise, McKnight kicked out! Completely matched, both men continued fighting for their lives. Stefan eventually got McKnight down and climbed the Ladder, preparing for the Immortal Dive, but McKnight realized his predicament and got up to climb the Ladder as well. Both men brawled on top with McKnight eventually knocking Stefan off, but Stefan grabbed a nearby sledgehammer and hit McKnight in the back of the skull, smashing his head between the sledgehammer and Ladder! McKnight fell to his side, where he had set up two tables that were about the height of the Ladder. Stefan positioned McKnight in the middle of the top table via the Ladder and climbed up, preparing for the Immortal Dive. Stefan then got off of the Ladder, prompting the fans to boo him as he threw the Ladder out. Stefan went outside and got a much bigger, 20 foot Ladder and set it up in the ring, causing the fans to pop! Stefan climbed to the top and hit his Immortal Dive to McKnight's chest area, sending him crashing through both tables! Stefan dragged himself over as the fans cheered in disbelief and pinned McKnight for the win! McKnight had to be carried out on a stretcher while Stefan managed to walk out.

"The Immortal Warrior"... Empty WWI Season 4: The Warrior's New Foe!

Post  Stefan Escayg Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:48 pm

5/21/09...Stefan comes out in the middle of the show and talks about his victory over McKnight at Extinction, announces that McKnight was injured in the match and will be out of action for a while, and calling out The Samoan Champion Aifelafasofa, saying that he had nobody left to protect him. Instead of the champion however, a new foe appeared in Shane Sebastian! Shane blamed Stefan for his own DQ loss against Aifelafasofa a few weeks back in a championship match, and claimed that he was the #1 guy on the roster. Shane said that Stefan didn't deserve a shot at the belt, and that he should be the one to get the title shot. Stefan responded by explaining that he was trying to help Shane when he interfered, and that unlike Shane, he was able to keep the champion down! Not wanting to get sidetracked again, Stefan wanted to end his issues with Shane early so that he can move on to Aifelafasofa, so he challenged Shane to a match that Sunday. Shane accepted the challenge, setting the scene for the rest of the season...

5/24/09...Stefan has an interview with Savannah before his match with Shane. He talked about what happened on the previous show, but was soon jumped from behind by Shane Sebastian! Shane kept the upper hand on Stefan for a moment before "The Immortal Warrior" started fighting back! Just when Stefan had the upper hand, Shane pulled out a lead pipe from between some nearby crates and blasted Stefan in the left knee! Shane then brutalized and bloodied Stefan with the lead pipe, continuing the punishment on the left knee. Shane then picked up one of the huge crates and threw it down on Stefan's left leg, smashing the knee and crushing Stefan's left ankle because of the way it was positioned. Shane then locked in his Straight Edge Lock, twisting the ankle and screaming for Stefan to tap, to no avail. Shane continued the punishment on Stefan's left leg until Stefan hit a lucky low blow, buying him enough time to set Shane up for the Warrior's Kick. Stefan went for his Warrior's Kick, but his left leg gave out on him because of the damage done to his knee and ankle, causing Stefan to crumble to his knees before Shane knocked Stefan out by throwing the crate into Stefan's face, crushing his skull, and leaving him unconcious in a pool of his own blood. Moments later, Shane came out for their scheduled match, which Stefan was unable to compete in because of the attack that happened mere minutes before. Shane rang the bell himself and began counting Stefan out, taunting Stefan and calling for him to come out. Stefan never came out, allowing Shane to declare himself the winner via countout. Though the match was never official, this night was a loss for Stefan...

5/28/09...Shane came out in the middle of the show and began bragging about injuring Stefan on the previous show, calling Stefan and all who cheer for him liars. After showing the WWI fans the attack again on the titantron, Shane went on to say that they will never see or hear Stefan Escayg again. As Shane was mid-sentence, Stefan's music hit, sending the crowd into a frenzy as "The Immortal Warrior" began running down to the ring, with a visible limp. The two men had a brief scuffle before Shane slid out of the ring to avoid the Warrior's Kick. Stefan grabbed the mic from the floor and told Shane that he wasn't finished yet, and that he was still ready to fight! Stefan then told Shane that he was going to get him back for injuring his leg as Shane walked away with an unusual confidence...

5/31/09...Both Stefan and Shane were in separate singles matches. Shane's match took place first as he went up against Sabotage. Shane had his signature Straight Edge Lock on Sabotage after avoiding the Shooting Star Elbow Drop and looked as though he was about to win when Stefan Escayg ran down to ringside! The referee begins arguing with Stefan, rendering him unable to see Sabotage tap out! Shane releases Sabotage and goes to yell at Stefan when Sabotage recovers and rolls Shane up for the win! In an interview later on in the show, Stefan said that his doctors advised him against competing, but that he wasn't going to be stopped. Stefan made it clear that he is 100% focused on getting past Shane and onto Aifelafasofa to challenge for the belt, and was not going to let an injury stop him. In his match, Stefan had Hitman Goose locked in the Tri-Factor when Shane ran down to ringside with a lead pipe in his hand. The referee, like in Shane's match, took his attention off of the match and began arguing with Shane as he was on the apron, but Stefan wouldn't let Shane cost him the match and released his hold on Goose to punch Shane in the face and off of the apron! Goose tried to capitalize with a clothesline, but Stefan managed to move out of the way, causing Goose to clothesline the refereee instead! Stefan hit the Trinidadian Tornado and went to the top turnbuckle to finish him off with the Immortal Dive, but Shane got up and hit Stefan in the back of his injured leg with the lead pipe, knocking him off of the turnbuckle! Shane then got into the ring and delivered another lead pipe shot to the left knee before opening a cut on Stefan's forehead with the lead pipe! Shane rolled out of the ring as the referee recovered and Goose got his arm across Stefan's chest for the pin, but Stefan kicked out at the very last second! Both Goose and Shane were in shock! Goose picked Stefan up only to have his arms brushed away and get hit in the chin with the Warrior's Kick! Stefan pinned Goose for the victory despite interference! Stefan had very little time to celebrate however, as Shane immediately got into the ring and began beating Stefan's leg with the lead pipe. Shane also got a steel chair and opened Stefan up even more with continuous shots to the skull! Shane then locked Stefan in his Straight Edge Lock until he looked unconscious. Shane turned to leave, thinking his work was done when Stefan began to move again! Shane grabbed the lead pipe and knocked Stefan out with one final blow to the skull, and hit his Breaking The Habit on the steel chair for good measure. Shane left with a smile on his face as Stefan was helped out by the EMT's...

6/4/09...Shane defeated Scrier in one on one action and went outside to get a mic after his victory. Shane began cutting the fans down for believing in Stefan, and claimed to have "crushed the Immortal Spirit"! Shane began saying that we would never see Stefan in a WWI ring again when Stefan's music suddenly hit, sending the fans into a frenzy! Stefan never came out though, and it became obvious that Shane had set that up. Even though the fans cheered for Stefan, he never made an apearance, leading many to believe that Shane may have actually crushed The Immortal Spirit...

6/7/09...Shane defeated Wynter in one on one action and once again got a mic after his win. Shane said that his recent wins combined with the fact that he eliminated Stefan from WWI prove that he deserves a shot at the Samoan Championship. Shaen went on to condemn his former federation for overlooking his ability, and challenged Aifelafasofa to put his title on the line right there! Several seconds passed, making Shane impatient. Shane called for the champion again, but was shocked to hear Stefan's music again! The fans were in disbelief, remembering what happened on the previous show but went crazy when Stefan limped out onto the stage with a mic! The fans chanted Stefan's name when his music cut off as Stefan glared at Shane with intensity. Stefan then started congratulating Shane for almost taking him down for good, but then said that he wasn't going to give up. Stefan talked about the actions in the past few weeks and explained that he missed the previous show because he was in the hospital. He then announced that his doctors told him that he couldn't wrestle for 4-6 months because of his injuries. Stefan then said that the doctors recommended that he retired and that he came close to agreeing with them when he had an epiphany. As he watched some of his old matches on the TV in his hospital room, Stefan realized that he had the same look in his eyes in his first match that he did in his PPV matches with WWI. He realized right then and there that he wasn't going anywhere! He argued with his doctors until they finally gave in and allowed him to leave the hospital. They contacted Morgan Rock, who tried to give Stefan the season off, but Stefan booked his own flight to this show so that he could be a part of it, and Rock finally gave in as well. Stefan then announced that he was going to face Shane at Down and Dirty to determine the #1 contender for the Samoan Championship! Stefan then told Shane that he was going to find a way to win at the PPV, and that nothing was going to stop him from getting to the Samoan Championship! Stefan was now set to face the man that almost took him out of commission...

6/11/09...Stefan teamed with psicosis to take on Shane and The Terrible Terrier! The match went back and forth until psicosis hit his Diving Guillotine Leg Drop on Terrier. Shane lost interest in the match and ran across the ring to attack Stefan, but Stefan pulled the ropes down which made Shane fall over the ropes. Psicosis pinned Terrier, winning the match for himself and Stefan. Stefan then jumped at Shane and hit a flying clothesline, but couldn't capitalize because of his injured leg. Shane then began beating Stefan down until Stefan managed to get to his knees and fight back with a couple punches to the gut and a low blow! Shane backed up to recover as Stefan reached under the ring and slid out a 12 foot Ladder! Stefan glared at Shane with the Ladder in his hands as both men got to their feet. Stefan began inching closer and closer to Shane, who was now backing up. Stefan then attempts to ram the Ladder into Shane's head, but Shane hops the fan barricade, causing Stefan to ram the turnbuckle post. Stefan and Shane stared down as Shane fled through the crowd. The two rivals were now set to face each other at Down and Dirty...

Down and Dirty
"The Immortal Warrior" Stefan Escayg vs. Shane Sebastian
#1 Contender's Match for the WWI Samoan Championship
Prior to the match, Stefan made it clear that he wasn't going to give up and that he was going to find a way to come out on top. At the start of the match, Shane played some mind games with Stefan, teasing attacks at the injured leg. Stefan eventually gained the upper hand and began beating Shane down. The match progressed with Stefan keeping the upper hand, but favoring his injured leg after each attack until Stefan made a mistake by kicking with his injured leg, allowing Shane to capitalize and hit a Dragon Screw through the ropes! For the next few minutes, Shane brutalized the injured knee with various attacks and submissions. Shane talked trash to Stefan between attacks, which eventually earned him a slap in the face from Stefan! Stefan then began to gain a little bit of momentum by brawling, but took too long playing to the crowd, allowing Shane to take him down again! Shane controlled Stefan for a few more minutes until Stefan began fighting back again, landing several high impact moves. Stefan then signaled for the Warrior's Kick, but was unable to execute it because his injured leg buckled under his weight! Shane tried pinning him, but Stefan still kciked out. Shane then got in Stefan's faec again with more trash talk, but Stefan pushed Shane away and hit a Trinidadian Tornado since he only needs his right leg for it! Stefan tried a pin, but Shane kicked out again. Stefan then started climbing up the turnbuckle, but Shane stopped him! Stefan managed to knock Shane off and went for the Immortal Dive, but was unable to do it because his injured leg gave out on him again, causing him to fall to the mat! Shane went for the pin but Stefan kicked out! Shane then had enough of Stefan and tried to end it by locking in his signature Straight Edge Lock! Shane twisted Stefan's ankle for several seconds as he screamed in pain, but Stefan refused to tap out! Stefan then whipped Shane into the turnbuckle with a forward roll, freeing himself from Shane's grasp! Shane took back the offense by going for his Multiple Sniperplex, but Stefan countered the third German Suplex by rolling him into the Tri-Factor much like he did at Ground Zero against Aifelafasofa! Shane freed himself by hitting Stefan in his injured leg and went for his Breaking The Habit, but Stefan rolled Shane up into a pin! Shane BARELY managed to kick out! Stefan then went for the Warrior's Kick with his other leg, using his good leg to support the weight and his bad leg to kick, but Shane managed to catch Stefan's injured ankle and twist him into the Straight Edge Lock again! Stefan desperately tried to get the ropes, but Shane wouldn't allow it and grapevined him in the middle of the ring! Stefan still refused to tap, but looked like he passed out from the pain! His shoulders were on the mat, counting as a pin, but Stefan BARELY manages to get his shoulder up!!! Stefan then rolled over and managed to get Shane into the Tri-Factor again!! Shane eventually got the ropes, but Stefan wouldn't let go and pulled Shane off of the ropes! With nothing left to do and his back screaming in pain, Shane tapped out!!! The fans were extatic as Stefan finally earned the right to face his old rival for the Samoan Championship! As he celebrated, Aifelafasofa walked out on stage and the two warriors took part in an intense staredown. Stefan was now one step closer to achieving what he set out to do since he returned...win the Samoan Championship!

"The Immortal Warrior"... Empty WWI Season 5: Warriors Collide!

Post  Stefan Escayg Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:49 pm

7/2/09...Stefan Escayg comes out and updates the WWI audience on the status of his leg. He announces that he is finally medically cleared to compete, but is soon interrupted by Aifelafasofa. The Samoan Champion criticizes the crowd for cheering Stefan, only to be put in his place by Stefan when he shuts him up. Stefan acknowledges Aifelafasofa's record breakin title reign, but tells him that the crowd wants a change! He points out their history and how they were even back in the infant days of WWI, but that he changed ever since joining the Old School Academy. Stefan then pleaded with Aifelafasofa to abandon the OSA and to simply fight like a man! Stefan challenged Aifelafasofa to a title match right there, but the champion declined, stating that the match will take place at the PPV. Aifelafasofa then confidently states that he will walk out of Anarchy as the Champion, to which Stefan replies by saying that he better cherish his last few weeks as champion...

7/5/09...Aifelafasofa comes out for his match and admits that Stefan had a point when he said that he should abandon the OSA. Aifelafasofa then did the unthinkable and announced his departure from the OSA, claiming to go into this battle alone! Aifelafasofa then went on to defeat Cyn in one on one action, warning Stefan that what he did to Cyn is what he can expect at Anarchy. Stefan had an interview shortly after in which he reminded us that Aifelafasofa never manged to defeat Stefan, and condfidently told WWI fans that he was going to walk out of Anarchy as the new champion...

7/9/09...Stefan had his first match since Down and Dirty against Wynter, saying before the match that his leg was no longer an issue. Stefan had control of the match near the end when Aifelafasofa ran down to ringside! The Samoan Champion tried to nail Stefan with the belt, but was cut off with a Warrior's Kick that knocked him out of the ring! Wynter tried a roll up, but was countered by "The Immortal Warrior", and hit with a Warrior's Kick to end the match in Stefan's favor. After the match, Stefan picked up the title and raised it in the air, glaring at Aifelafasofa before throwing it back to him! Stefan had all of the momentum at the time...

7/12/09...Aifelafasofa came out in the middle of the show and claimed that he was trying to inspect the ring on the previous show during Stefan's match, and told Stefan that he sealed his fate when he hit him with the Warrior's Kick. Shortly after, Stefan came out and told him that nobody believes him. Stefan then went on to acknowledge Aifelafasofa's skill, but also point out that he's never beaten Stefan and that he can see desperation in the champion's eyes! Stefan continued talking, saying how he's wanted to be a champion since he was a child, and said that his determination was higher than ever before! Stefan then said that he was going to give a preview right there, followed by Stefan dropping the mic and charging the ring! The two men brawl a bit until security comes out to break it up, allowing the champion to flee into the crowd, but Stefan hit a Warrior's Kick on one of the security guards and took off into the crowd in pursuit! The two men eventually caught up backstage and brawled relentlessly, opening wounds on both warriors and smashing into a door. The door opened shortly after and turned out to be the office of Morgan Rock himself! Rock broke up the fight and yelled at both men for their violence. To protect one of his championship matches at Anarchy, Rock made a "no contact rule" between Stefan and Aifelafasofa, threatening to take away their title/#1 contender's spot respectively! He then announced that Stefan and Aifelafasofa will team up on the next show, and that if either of them left the other, they would suffer the same fate! Both men stared each other down in blinding rage before storming off...

7/16/09...The Warriors team up for the first time to take on the team of The Bish and DaRkJaRr! Throughout the match, the two rivals argued several times over forced tags, among other things, eventually culminating near the end of the match when Stefan tagged himself in. Aifelafasofa got in Stefan's face, but Stefan hit a Warrior's Kick on The Bish as he came close! Aifelafasofa then tagged himself back in, making Stefan get in his face! With his back turned, Stefan couldn't see DaRkJaRr coming at him from behind, but the champion did and managed to move out of the way as Stefan was tackled into the turnbuckle. Aifelafasofa then threw DaRkJaRr out of the ring with a Samoan Plex and pinned The Bish, picking up the win for his team! After the match, the rivals stared each other down before Stefan stormed off, leaving Aifelafasofa in the ring with a confident smirk on his face...

7/19/09...Stefan Escayg manages to defeat psicosis in a hard fought battle, but has no time to celebrate as Aifelafasofa comes out right after his match! He then makes a statement by showing a video of him in Stefan's home country of Trinidad! The Champion verbally attacks the country and even hits a Samoan Plex on a native Trinidadian! Aifelafasofa then walks into the ring and provokes Stefan even more by taking out a Trinidad flag and holding a flame to it! Stefan snatches his flag away before it's burned, but almost loses his temper and attacks the champion. Stefan remembers the "no contact rule" however, and decides against it, storming off! Aifelafasofa thought he found his way out of the match...

7/23/09...At the beginning of the show, Stefan comes out to address Aifelafasofa's actions. He revealed that he's more determined than ever as the situation had just gotten personal! Aifelafasofa soon interrupts and goes on to deny the accusations of him trying to get out of the match. Aifelafasofa says that he's not concerned at all and that he's confident that he will retain his title. Morgan Rock interrupts Aifelafasofa on the titantron and tells him that as punishment, Stefan and Aifelafasofa will be on opposite teams in a tag team match with the "no contact rule" nulled until the end of the match! During the match, Stefan tried multiple times to get at Aifelafasofa, but was unsuccessful on each try. Stefan eventually tagged himself in on The Bish and rolled DaRkJaRr up for the quick win! The Bish was upset over being tagged in and tackles Stefan to the mat! He then leaps from the turnbuckle only to be met mid-air with a Warrior's Kick! DaRkJaRr then rushes Stefan, but is cut off by a Warrior's Kick! Aifelafasofa gets the Samoan Championship and rushes Stefan, provoking the Warrior's Kick, but Stefan stops himself once he remembered the rule! Aifelafasofa then pats his chin, begging for the Warrior's Kick, but Stefan simply points at the belt and walks away! The stage was now set for the epic encounter...

for the WWI Samoan Championship

Stefan had an interview in which he said that being champion was his childhood dream, and that he was finally about to fulfill it tonight! He hyped up the match, and claimed that the match would be hecktic! Aifelafasofa later had an interview in which he said that he was giong to have no problems retaining the belt. Just before the match, Mikai Escayg and Stefan Escayg met for the first time since Mikai joined WWI! Stefan's cousin then said that he was counting on Stefan to honor Trinidad, and that he has his back in case anybody tried to interfere. The match started off with a mix of wrestling and brawling, with the momentum going back and forth between the rivals several times. They traded signatures several times, including a Polynesian Ankle Tenderizer to Stefan's previously injured left ankle! The match soon took a bloody turn as Aifelafasofa opened Stefan up with a DDT onto the steel steps. Stefan returned the favor by dropping his knee onto the back of his rival's head, smashing his face into the edge of the steel steps! Stefan eventually went for his Shooting Star Knee Drop, but the champion moved and tried to lock in the Samoan Crucifix! Stefan countered and tried to lock in the Tri-Factor, but Aifelafasofa threw Stefan off. As both men neared each other again, Stefan hit a Warrior's Kick out of nowhere and went for the pin, but Aifelafasofa kicked out!!! Stefan pleaded with the ref before signaling for a second Warrior's Kick! Aifelafasofa ducks under and trips Stefan, going for his Ankle Lock again, but Stefan flips through and tackles him to unleash a flurry of fists! Stefan then hits his Shooting Star Knee Drop and signals for the Warrior's Kick! Aifelafasofa ducks under however, and hits a Samoan Plex! He goes for the pin but Stefan BARELY kicks out!!!! Aifelafasofa pleads with the ref before picking Stefan up and going for a second Samoan Plex, but Stefan manages to roll forward and go for the Tri-Factor, but Aifelafasofa knew that counter and rolled as well, ending up behind Stefan again for the Samoan Plex! Stefan managed to trip the champion and land on his stomach for a pin, but Aifelafasofa kicked out again! After another countering contest followed by a near fall, Stefan hit his Immortal Twisting Somersault Kick and went for the Immortal Dive. Aifelafasofa gets up faster though and stops him, turning Stefan for a Back Suplex, but Stefan manages to push the champion off! Aifelafasofa quickly runs up and hits a Samoan Plex from the top rope out of nowhere!!! The champion pins Stefan for the win! Aifelafasofa then manages to barely walk away, still champion. Stefan gets up and recieves a standing ovation for his efforts, but leaves with his head held down in his first taste of actual defeat...

"The Immortal Warrior"... Empty WWI Season 6: The Warrior's Defeat...

Post  Stefan Escayg Mon Dec 14, 2009 3:51 pm

8/13/09...Early on in the show, the cameras just happen to catch an encounter between Stefan and Mikai Escayg! Mikai barged in unannounced on his cousin, getting straight to the point by bringing up Anarchy. Stefan was visibly upset over his loss to his rival, but got no sympathy from Mikai as "The Trinidadian Fighter" criticized Stefan for not doing anything to Aifelafasofa after the match! He pointed out that he dishonored his country, and that he deserved to get a beating, but that Stefan wasn't man enough to stand up for his country! Mikai then stormed off, leaving Stefan alone in his locker room...later on, Aifelafasofa came out and bragged about his win, saying that Stefan was a thing of the past. He was soon interrupted by the new #1 contender, Hitman Goose! Goose also said that Stefan was a thing of the past and that he was going to win the Samoan Title, but both men were shocked when "The Immortal Warrior" Stefan Escayg came out!! Stefan said that he wasn't finished with Aifelafasofa, and that he wanted one more match! He said that when it came to big matches, they were tied! Stefan won at Ground Zero, Aifelafasofa won at Anarchy! Goose quickly jumped in and told Stefan to stay out of the title picture since he's already had his shot at the belt. Aifelafasofa agreed and was prepared to get his defense out of the way, but Stefan stopped them and warned them both that he was going to find a way to get another shot! It seemed as though Mikai's words triggered something within "The Immortal Warrior"...

8/16/09...Hitman Goose manages to defeat Taylor Game and sends a message to Aifelafasofa into the camera, but is floored with a Superkick from the camera man! It is soon revealed that Stefan Escayg was the camera man!! Stefan tells Goose to stay out of his way! Later on, Stefan has a word with Mikai about his match tactics. Trying to help his cousin, Stefan tries to convince Mikai to stop cheating, but does not seem to get through. Stefan eventually leaves Mikai alone, as he can't seem to talk sense into him. Later on, Aifelafasofa has an interview in which he calls Stefan a sore loser, and tells him to move on. Nobody knew what would come of these actions...

8/20/09...Stefan Escayg made a bold statement during an interview with Savannah, saying that Goose was getting in his way and that he was destined to win the title! Stefan warned Goose to stay out of his way while warning Aifelafasofa to watch his back. Later on, Goose revealed that Stefan was now officially on his hitlist, and that he was going take Stefan out of the picture and go on to become the new Samoan Champion at Retaliation! Soon after, Aifelafasofa picked up the win over Freelancer with a Samoan Plex, but was soon attacked by Stefan Escayg! Stefan managed to knock Aifelafasofa out of the ring with an enziguiri, giving him enough time to pose with the Samoan Championship. Stefan was soon attacked by Goose however, and after a series of counters, was hit with the Samoan Title before getting hit with the Headshot! Goose celebrated with the Samoan Title, climbing to the second rope and raising it in the air, but was soon surprised when Aifelafasofa slid back into the ring and hit a Samoan Plex from the second rope! This allowed Aifelafasofa to celebrate with his title and walk off with his title, sending a message to his rivals! Later on, Stefan talked with his cousin in hopes that he would change his tactics, but ended up angering Mikai. When Mikai disrespected Stefan, he was slapped off of his feet, and was left with his cousin saying that he was ashamed of him...

8/23/09...Stefan Escayg had an interview like only he could, saying that he was a man on a mission and that the Samoan Title was his goal! Stefan then made a bold move by challenging both Aifelafasofa and Goose to attack him after his match!! On his way to the match later on, Stefan complimented Mikai on his match that night since he didn't cheat and actually did his best to play fair. Stefan then went on to pick up a narrow victory over drex, but had little time to rest as Goose immediately ran out and attacked Stefan! The two men brawled until Aifelafasofa ran down and joined the brawl!! Soon after, security began pouring out in an attempt to stop the fight, but the three rivals ended up teaming up against security to get at each other!!! The war between the rivals and security was soon stopped when Morgan Rock came out and threatened to fire all of them! Rock then blamed Stefan for all of the chaos and said that he would be punished on the next show. Rock also said that it would be his ONLY chance to get into the title match at Retaliation! It was then revealed that Stefan would have to defeat 3 other men in a Gauntlet match!! Even Stefan began having some doubts...

8/27/09...Prior to his match, Stefan revealed that he was unsure if he'd be able to win, but swore that he would fight until he couldn't fight any longer! As he left, Aifelafasofa stopped him and started a man to man talk. Aifelafasofa told Stefan that he should just accept defeat like a man rather than going through so much to get another shot, but Stefan said that he was too determined to give up on the title quest. Stefan then went out to the match, first facing VOK. After a hard fought battle, Stefan managed to pick up the win with an Immortal Dive! A-Poe was revealed as Stefan's next opponent. A-Poe managed to draw some blood, but Stefan fought through the pain and managed to make A-Poe tap to the Tri-Factor after countering his powerbomb!! As blood dripped from his face, Stefan's own cousin was revealed as his final opponent!!! Before they fought, Stefan asked Mikai not to go easy on him and to do his honest best. The two men fought until both were bloody and battered. Mikai soon dodged a Warrior's Kick, causing it to hit the ref!! Mikai then went for a chair, but battled himself trying to decide whether to hit Stefan or not. Mikai then dropped the chair and hugged his cousin, but soon hit a low blow and followed up with a chair shot to the skull!!! Mikai picked Stefan up and hit the Fighter's Finish, but Stefan somehow managed to kick out!!!! Mikai picked Stefan up, screaming at him, until he was shut up with a Warrior's Kick out of nowhere, winning Stefan the match!! As he celebrated, Aifelafasofa came out and stared Stefan down. Before they could do anything, Goose came from the crowd and attacked them, hitting a Headshot on both men and reminding them that there was a third person involved and to not forget him! The stage was set for Retaliation...

8/30/09...After being attacked by Goose on the previous show, a match was made between Stefan Escayg and Hitman Goose. The match never got to end however as Aifelafasofa came out near the end and attacked both men, causing a double DQ. After incapacitating both men, Aifelafasofa got on the mic and made a shocking announcement. Since Morgan Rock didn't think Stefan would win the Gauntlet match, he decided to add a stipulation to the Title Match at Retaliation as punishment for Stefan's interferences throughout the season. Aifelafasofa announced that if Stefan Escayg failed to win the Samoan Championship, he would be fired from WWI. Aifelafasofa then confidently stated that Retaliation would be the end of Stefan's WWI career for good...

9/3/09...On the final show before Retaliation, the contract signing for the WWI Samoan Championship match took place. Morgan Rock hosted this event and said that if there was any violence, the participants will be fired on the spot. As each man signed the contract, they grabbed the mic and spoke their mind. Aifelafasofa went first, saying that he was going to finally end the career of Stefan Escayg at Retaliation. Stefan followed, saying that he wasn't going to allow his career to end and that he was going to finally become the Samoan Champion. As Aifelafasofa and Stefan stared each other down, Goose chimed in, saying that he was involved in the match as well and that if they forgot about him in the match, he would capitalize and win the match. This led to an intense three way staredown as each man was ready for Retaliation...

for the WWI Samoan Championship

Before the match, Stefan had an interview in which he stated that with his career on the line, he was not going to lose! The match soon began with Aifelafasofa and Stefan ignoring Goose. This was not taking well by Goose, resulting in Goose taking both men out. The match progressed with each man having control several times. Goose managed to somehow kick out of a Super Samoan Plex, the same move that beat Stefan back at Anarchy! After a while, Aifelafasofa and Stefan teamed up to take Goose out of the picture, placing him on the announce table and allowing Stefan to hit an Immortal Dive from on top of a Ladder to take him out. Aifelafasofa also managed to kick out of a Warrior's Kick, while Stefan kicked out of a Samoan Plex. Goose then recovered and got back into the ring, hitting a Headshot on Stefan and blasting Aifelafasofa with a steel chair. Stefan kicked out of the Headshot, despite being a bloody mess while Aifelafasofa kicked out of the chair shot, despite looking knocked out upon impact. Goose then desperately charged Stefan with the chair when he got up, only to be hit with a Warrior's Kick. As Stefan went for the cover, Aifelafasofa dragged him out of the ring and capitalized, winning the match!! Everyone in the arena was completely shocked as Stefan lost his last shot at the title. Before leaving, Aifelafasofa and Stefan stared each other down one final time, shaking hands to end their long, heated rivalry. "The Immortal Warrior" was erased from WWI...

"The Immortal Warrior"... Empty Unemployment/WPF: The Warrior's Struggles...

Post  Stefan Escayg Thu Dec 24, 2009 6:14 pm

After losing his job with WWI, Stefan thought he had lost everything. Shortly after, however, a new federation by the name of Wrestling Perfection Federation was being opened up by a man named John Anderson. Stefan immediately signed, but the federation's life was short lived due to personal issues within the Anderson family, and was soon closed down after only two shows. Stefan was once again out of a job and was actually beginning to consider retiring from professional wrestling. He went into a deep depression, contemplating suicide several times, but with because of his "Warrior's Spirit", Stefan managed to fight through the depression and fix himself! A couple months had passed since Stefan set foot in a wrestling ring, which finally caught up to Stefan. "The Immortal Warrior" began looking at several federations in search of a new home. After a lot of searching, Stefan finally found somewhere he felt comfortable to make his return to wrestling...
